Optical properties

The sight uses a red light-emitting diode (LED) as its light source, which is completely eye-safe and contains no radioactive materials. Several dot sizes are available: 2 MOA, 2 MOA with a 65 MOA ring, 4 MOA or 8 MOA dot. The crystal-clear 1x hard-coated acrylic lens is parallax-free and features an anti-reflective coating that minimizes distracting light reflections and reduces the visibility of the sight.

Electronic features

The sight is powered by a single 3V lithium battery (CR2032), offering an impressive battery life of up to 20,000 hours in average daylight. The brightness adjusts automatically to ambient conditions, from the lowest setting, which is compatible with night vision devices, to the highest, which remains visible against the sky even in bright daylight.

Rugged design

The housing of the Shield red dot sight is made of glass-filled polymer and finished in matte black. With compact dimensions of 42x25x23 mm and a weight of only 14 grams, it is lightweight yet rugged.
