Optical properties

The RMSd uses a red light-emitting diode (LED) as its light source, which is completely eye-safe and contains no radioactive materials. You can choose between two dot sizes: 4 MOA or 8 MOA. The D-shaped, crystal-clear glass lens is free of filters that could distort the image, and features a robust, anti-reflective coating that causes no color distortion and minimizes visibility.

Electronic features

The sight is powered by a 3V lithium battery of type CR1632, offering an impressive battery life of 9,000 hours at average daylight settings. The side-accessible battery compartment allows for quick and easy battery changes without having to remove the sight from the firearm. The brightness of the red dot automatically adjusts to the surroundings within milliseconds. The intensity range spans from night-vision compatible up to a dot brightness visible even against a bright daylight sky.
