4-piece die set made of robust stainless steel, consisting of a full calibration die with Hartmetal calibration inserts, a sleeve neck expansion die, a setting die with a micrometer screw and a taper crimping die with a micrometer screw.
The dies fit all presses with the standard thread 7/8-14.
The Lyman Pro dies set a new standard for reloading tool performance. Designed for the enormous volume of Lyman Mark 7 presses, every aspect of these precision dies has been carefully designed for peak performance. Of course, they also work in normal progressive presses as well as in turret and single-station presses.
The forming, seating and crimping tools are all made from stainless steel, selected for its toughness and corrosion resistance. The M-die neck expander with its fine two-stage expander plug ensures exactly the right amount of neck tension and case mouth expansion. The micrometer seating die has a micrometer adjustable seat head for precise bullet seating. The floating bullet setting punch centers the bullet on the case.
Finally, each set is equipped with a conical crimping die (micrometer adjustable) to completely remove case mouth flare and ensure improved bullet retention.
