The legendary V-MAX bullets, proven millions of times over, consist of a tombak jacket filled with pressed lead. The V-Max bullets have a cavity (hollow point/hollow chamber) at their core, which is covered with an aerodynamic polymer tip. This is pressed into the cavity when it hits the target medium and leads to an immediate, explosive complete disintegration of the projectile, as well as a greatly reduced risk of ricochet. The bullets have a low bellows rating and generally do not lead to rejection when dealing with game the size of a fox! The Hornady-Varmint bullets have very high ballistic coefficients and therefore an optimal bullet trajectory with very high inherent precision.
