The DRS-NV (Digital Rifle Sight-Night Vision) reflex sight is a state-of-the-art, professional aiming system in a compact design. It combines a precise reflex sight with an advanced digital night vision system that operates in the infrared range. Incoming light waves are captured, electronically amplified, and displayed on an integrated OLED display. Thanks to digital technology, the user has a variable zoom range from 1 to 8 times magnification.
The DRS-NV features an LED-MRS (Multi-Reticle System) with three digital reticle options, a digital night vision sensor with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels and up to 60 frames per second, 8x digital zoom, and digital image and video recording with integrated memory. The DRS is powered by two rechargeable 18350 batteries with a runtime of 6 hours in full operation and 8 hours in observation mode. An integrated magnetic coupler connects the DRS with USB for charging the batteries or with a PC for downloading recorded images and videos.
The night vision system features internal memory and the ability to record videos and still images for later playback. Power is supplied by two rechargeable 18350 batteries (included) or alternatively by two CR123 batteries. Important: Only rechargeable batteries should be charged via the USB cable – charging disposable batteries can damage the device.
The USB cable can not only charge the battery but also conveniently transfer stored content to a computer. The display offers a smooth refresh rate of 60 FPS, ensuring clear and delay-free presentation.
The Picatinny mount is secured by a stable, hand-operated clamping bolt, ensuring simple and secure attachment to the weapon. The housing is made of high-quality, durable materials and meets IP67 protection class, allowing the sight to function reliably even under demanding weather conditions. The DRS-NV is thus optimally suited for both day and night use. In complete darkness, the use of an additional IR light source is recommended to enhance night vision performance.
The device is controlled via separate controls for the reflex and night vision systems. Adjustment is made using the supplied tool, with each click allowing for an adjustment of 0.5 MOA within a range of ±50 MOA.
The DRS-NV amplifies light to improve visibility in low light conditions. Moonlight and starlight provide sufficient illumination in most cases. However, in cloudy skies, an external infrared source (IR) is required. Holosun recommends one of our laser devices with IR illumination, such as the LE321 or IRIS.
