The ARO-EVO is the consistent further development of the ARO (Advanced Rifle Optic). It features a completely new housing design with a 26mm objective diameter. This offers a significantly larger field of view, providing the user with more information about the target area, leading to faster and improved target response and resulting in optimized hit performance. The new lower 1/3 co-witness pedestal mount provides an absolutely shot-proof connection to the weapon's Picatinny rail. The newly designed housing perfectly matches our series of magnifiers. Additionally, the ARO-EVO is equipped with the new Special Purpose Reticle (SPR). This is an aiming reticle with hold marks for compensating bullet drop over different engagement distances (Bullet Drop Compensation - BDC). This is a feature integrated into optics to help the shooter compensate for the bullet's trajectory deviation over longer distances. Due to gravity, a bullet follows a parabolic trajectory after leaving the barrel, causing it to drop as it travels farther away from the target. Our SPR reticle with integrated BDC contains special markings that allow shooters to directly compensate for different target distances without manually adjusting the aiming optics or the zeroing distance. These markings are calibrated to offset the specific bullet drop at certain distances. With BDC, the shooter can accurately hit targets at various distances by simply aiming with the appropriate hold mark. This is particularly advantageous in situations requiring quick target acquisition and adjustment, often encountered in tactical or hunting environments. The user-friendliness lies in the shooter's ability to intuitively execute distance measurement and compensation, increasing accuracy at different ranges. It features a fine 1.5 MOA dot at the center, which minimally obstructs the target even at greater distances. The 65 MOA ring serves for ultra-fast target acquisition at close range. Paired with the hold marks for precise determination of bullet drop and distance estimation up to approximately 300m, optimal results can be achieved with this reticle, especially in combination with one of our magnifiers, up to medium shooting distances. The SPR reticle is particularly suitable for professional users as well as those without tactical training and experience, as it is extremely intuitive to use. Aiming with the respective hold marks automatically adjusts the muzzle of the weapon to compensate for the bullet's falling trajectory. The ARO-EVO-SPR is available with the novel Special Purpose Reticle in red, green, and gold. You can choose the optimal reticle color for you when ordering, based on personal preference, prevailing usage environment, or existing eye conditions (for instance, red-green color blindness, for which we recommend the golden reticle).
